○○○ Chocolate Maple
This gorgeous cutting board is handcrafted from salvaged Chocolate Spalted Ambrosia Maple in Central Massachusetts. Solid wood cutting & serving board with a organic live edge showcasing the natural history of the tree just underneath the bark. The overall color of the wood consists of dark tans, browns, blacks, and honey yellows.

The true unique beauty of this one of a kind piece is in the rare Ambrosia and Spalt figures. The Ambrosia figures cause the wood grain to 'streak' with the longitudinal grain lines of dark browns and blacks. the spalt figures add to the ambrosia with random streaks of browns, blacks and tans.


○○○ Black Cherry
This solid wood cutting board has been handcrafted from salvaged black cherry from Central Massachusetts; a solid wood serving and cutting board has a beautiful grain with an overall warm honey brown color interrupted by color variations from dark & light tans to honey yellows. A Natural live edge occurs along the sapwood; showcasing the area underneath the tree bark with depths of figure, color and character.


○○○ American Ash
A light-colored species with an open grain and a coarse texture similar to oak, Ash is relatively dense with good working and finishing properties. The wood of Ash is economically important due to its strength, hardness, weight, and shock resistance.


○○○ American Elm
Elm heartwood is typically reddish-brown in color and the sapwood is light-coloured. While the grain can be fairly straight it is often interlocked with a coarse texture. In appearance it most closely resembles oak, also a ring porous wood.

Finishing and Care

This board has been seasoned with multiple coats of our own blend of a food-grade beeswax and mineral oil finish. A Board Care Instruction sheet is included with your board purchase.

To maintain the supple board finish; we recommend resealing with an oil or beeswax oil blend every few uses. Resealing your board is easy with our ready-made beeswax wood conditioners!
