POPLAR: this is a thick smooth wood that with a clear grain.
Available in Natural (has a yellowish hue), and Mocha Stain (med-dark brown)
PINE: this is a thick rough wood, only available in Mocha Stain

Standard heights (floor to top of wood) are 4-5" for the Green Mini and Catch and 5-6" for the Green. If you prefer shorter/taller heights note that in the notes to seller box at checkout.

WHY this unique design??

Most dogs are able to eat far more and much faster than what is healthy. This behavior is driven by instincts and we control it by dosing each portion of food.

In order to get a healthy dog it is however equally important to control the speed of consumption. This is done by complicating the access to the food.

GREEN & GREEN mini complicates the access to the food – but it doesn’t hide it. When dogs search and hunt for food in nature every obstacle becomes an active part of the game: The forest is doing the opposite of hiding the prey – it’s actually guiding the dog along a track made of smells and sounds.
