These well-made, solid but simple and chic rustic frame chalkboards come with two keyhole hangers routed into the rear: each in either horizontal or vertical orientation included, with a simple wall installation of 1. Securing two screws/wall anchors into your wall (level/plumb) and 2. Guide the chalkboard onto the screws and pull down to lock in place.

These pieces are designed to have rustic/salvaged wood character. Many unique, natural imperfections add to character of the boards. There may be nail holes, gouges and other character which we aim to maintain. Our own handmade, natural wood stain gives the wood an amazing depth of dark brown coloring! We then seal the wood in a linseed oil wood finish.

Note we cannot engrave into the chalkboard area -- the engraving location will be on the frame.



Finishing and Care
(7-10) coats of chalkboard paint make up the writing surface and the exposed wood areas have been finished with our handmade stain and linseed oil blend finish.
Chalkboard will be pre-seasoned with a rub and wipe-down of chalk.
We include (1) pencil with all our chalkboards, but it should be noted that the chalk line is more thin than a standard white chalk stick, allowing for more detail but also being a little less easy to wipe off with a standard chalkboard eraser. We suggest wiping off with a little water and a clean rag/towel. =)

Shipping rates are listed with the item, based on lowest cost shipping: FedEx Ground or USPS Parcel Post with delivery confirmation, which usually takes between 3-8 days. If within the shipping cost I will choose to ship USPS Priority Mail (1-5 days) or FedEx Ground (1-5 days). Shipping to a PO Box may incur an additional shipping charge.
